Practice exactly as per Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission rules.
Target: 8000 KDPH
Target: 4000 KDPH
If you are appearing for Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) exams for posts like Junior Assistant, Personal Assistant, or Steno, you must clear the computer typing test. Unlike central exams that evaluate strictly on WPM, Uttarakhand uses KDPH (Key Depressions Per Hour) to determine your final speed.
💡 What is KDPH and how does it relate to WPM?
KDPH measures how many physical keystrokes you make in an hour. To convert KDPH to an approximate WPM (Words Per Minute), you divide it by 5 (standard word length) and then by 60 (minutes in an hour).
For example: 4000 KDPH = (4000 / 5) / 60 ≈ 13.33 WPM.
8000 KDPH = (8000 / 5) / 60 ≈ 26.66 WPM.
Because the Hindi requirement (4000 KDPH) is relatively low compared to other states, the biggest challenge is not speed, but Accuracy and Font Familiarity. Kruti Dev 010 requires you to memorize complex Alt Codes for special characters. Practice daily on our strict-mode simulator above—it calculates your exact KDPH live so you know the moment you cross the qualifying line.
